Eligibility and conditions for returning items
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may return eligible items under the following conditions:
Return Window
Items can be returned within 3β5 days of delivery or store pickup. Requests made after this period will not be eligible for return.
Eligibility Requirements
Items must be unused and in original condition β no signs of use, wear, or damage
Items must be returned in their original packaging, including all tags, accessories, and documentation
A valid order confirmation or receipt must be presented at the time of return
Returns must be initiated within the 3β5 day return window from delivery or store pickup date
Non-Returnable Items
Items that cannot be returned under any circumstances
For hygiene, safety, and quality control reasons, certain items are not eligible for return. Please review the list carefully before purchasing.
Used or damaged items β items that show signs of use, wear, or damage not caused by our fault
Opened personal care items β any personal care, beauty, or hygiene products that have been opened or used
Items without original packaging β products returned without their original box, tags, or accessories
Items outside the return window β returns requested after 3β5 days of delivery or pickup
Damaged or Defective on Arrival?
If your item arrived damaged or is defective through no fault of your own, please contact us immediately. We will treat this as a priority and arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
Refunds
How and when your refund is processed
Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.
Refund Process Timeline
Item Received & Inspected
We receive your returned item and our team conducts a quality inspection within 1β2 business days.
Notification Sent
You will be notified via email or WhatsApp of the inspection result β approved or rejected β with a reason if rejected.
Refund Issued (5β7 Working Days)
Approved refunds are processed via bank transfer within 5β7 working days to the account you provide.
Refund Method
All approved refunds are issued via direct bank transfer to the customer's bank account. Please ensure you provide your correct bank details when submitting a return request. We do not refund to cards or via KOKO Pay.
Return Shipping
Who covers the cost of returning an item
The responsibility for return shipping costs depends on the reason for the return:

Our error (wrong or damaged item): BloomsBell.lk will fully cover the return shipping cost. We will arrange courier pickup or reimburse your shipping expense.

Customer preference (change of mind): The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked courier service to ensure safe delivery of the return.
Shipping Tip
Please ensure items are securely packed before shipping back. BloomsBell.lk is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping when the courier is arranged by the customer.
Store Pickup Returns
Returning items purchased via store pickup
Items collected via Store Pickup from our Negombo branch can also be returned under the same return policy conditions.
- Items collected via Store Pickup can be returned within 3 days of collection
- A valid receipt or order confirmation (email or SMS) must be presented at the time of return
- The item must be brought in person to our Negombo store during operating hours
- Store hours: MondayβSaturday, 9:00 AM β 6:00 PM
- All other eligibility requirements (unused, original packaging) still apply
Store Location
You can return store pickup items directly at our Negombo branch β no courier required. Our staff will process your return on the spot.
